Balliawala Pariwar Foundation is a registered charitable organization. As such, we have specific policies regarding refunds that align with our charitable mission and legal requirements. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be considered.
2. Donation Refunds
2.1 General Donations
Donations made to Balliawala Pariwar Foundation are generally considered final and non-refundable. However, we may consider refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Technical errors resulting in duplicate donations
- Unauthorized transactions made without the donor's consent
- Donations made under false pretenses or misrepresentation
- Processing errors on our part
2.2 Refund Timeframe
Refund requests for donations must be submitted within 30 days of the original transaction date. Requests submitted after this period will not be considered.
3. Membership Refunds
3.1 Monthly Memberships
Monthly membership fees are generally non-refundable once paid. However, we may consider refunds in the following cases:
- If the membership is cancelled within 7 days of payment
- If there are technical issues preventing access to membership benefits
- If the foundation is unable to provide promised services
3.2 Annual Memberships
Annual membership refunds may be considered on a pro-rated basis if:
- The membership is cancelled within 30 days of payment
- There are significant changes to membership benefits without notice
- The member is unable to access services due to technical issues
4. Event and Program Fees
4.1 Event Cancellations
If an event or program is cancelled by Balliawala Pariwar Foundation, full refunds will be provided within 14 business days of the cancellation notice.
4.2 Participant Cancellations
Refunds for participant cancellations are subject to the following terms:
- Full refund if cancelled 30+ days before the event
- 50% refund if cancelled 15-29 days before the event
- No refund if cancelled less than 15 days before the event
- Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis
5. Processing Fees
Please note that processing fees charged by payment gateways or financial institutions are generally non-refundable. These fees will be deducted from any approved refund amount.
6. Refund Process
6.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:
- Transaction ID or receipt number
- Date of the transaction
- Amount of the transaction
- Reason for the refund request
- Supporting documentation if applicable
6.2 Review Process
All refund requests will be reviewed by our finance team within 5-7 business days. You will be notified of the decision via email.
6.3 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days and will be credited to the original payment method used for the transaction.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are generally non-refundable:
- Donations made more than 30 days ago
- Membership fees for services already rendered
- Processing fees charged by third-party payment processors
- Digital products or services that have been accessed
- Customized or personalized items
8. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may request a review by our management team. All disputes will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
9. Changes to Refund Policy
We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
